Environmental
Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. brings a blend of long years of experience, the perspective of former senior government officials, and a depth of knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations to all of its environmental work. Our clients demand that we provide the highest quality of environmental representation to solve their environmental problems worldwide. We continue to meet that challenge today, as we have for over 30 years.
Environmental law has changed over the last three decades, and we have evolved along with it. Our Superfund practice has moved from negotiations over allocation of cleanup costs to encompass large natural resource damages cases in major watersheds across the country and brownfields redevelopment. We have built outward from our state and federal practice to form a worldwide environmental practice, where we address global warming and emissions trading, the movement of air emissions across national boundaries, transboundary shipments of waste, and the need for international companies to adopt similar environmental management and compliance systems across the globe. Where our overall environmental practice began as a “pollution control” practice associated with water discharges and air emissions, we now represent our clients on the legal and business issues posed by their project developments and the environmental impacts of their products.
One trait our environmental lawyers share with our land use and litigation colleagues is tireless, creative and effective advocacy for our clients. Beveridge & Diamond’s environmental practice is second to none in terms of the type and scope of environmental matters we handle on a day to day basis, the complexity of that work, and our success in achieving the legal and business goals of our clients.
