Domestic Relations Litigation

The Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. domestic relations team represents clients involved in all aspects of family law.  Our practice is sophisticated, characterized by complex litigation involving valuation of assets, tax analysis and jurisdictional issues.  We negotiate and draft prenuptial agreements designed to protect closely held businesses, family trusts, inheritances and other substantial assets in the event of divorce or death of a spouse.  Our attorneys offer a practical, responsive and dedicated approach to the resolution of divorce proceedings, custody disputes, paternity actions, modification proceedings, removal cases, and issues arising from same-sex marriages and partnerships.

Our family law attorneys are creative in their approach to settlement and provide our clients the legal framework in which to resolve their disputes through negotiation.  When litigation can not be avoided, our experience and ability to handle the most complex litigation matters enables us to vigorously defend and protect our clients’ rights, assets and income in Court.  Acknowledged leaders in the field, we have worked extensively with the Massachusetts Legislature, the Courts, and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue to shape legislation, train other lawyers, and enhance the practice of family law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  We are often called upon to teach seminars in the areas of business valuation, taxation, jurisdiction and real estate, and to serve as special masters in complex business disputes.

In all aspects of our domestic relations practice we partner with our clients to define and achieve their attainable goals in an efficient and result-oriented manner.
