Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. frequently counsels foreign and U.S. multinational corporations on issues arising under the national environmental laws of other countries and territories. Our experience includes matters related to facility-specific compliance issues, environmental labeling, product take-back and recycling, product quality and safety, facility acquisitions or sales, environmental compliance assessments, liability for the cleanup of contaminated property, air and water pollution control, waste management controls and the use and registration of both genetically engineered and chemical pesticides. In addition, the Firm has counseled clients on requirements governing the import and export of chemicals, consumer products, pesticides, solid and hazardous wastes and regulated genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
