EPA Extends TSCA IUR Submission Deadline to March 23, 2007

EPA announced today that it is extending the submission deadline for calendar year 2005 Toxic Substances and Control Act Inventory Update Reporting (“IUR”) submissions to March 23, 2007.  Chemical manufacturers and importers subject to the IUR were operating under a December 23, 2006 deadline for calendar year 2005 submissions but, due to many requests for extension of the submission period, EPA signed a rule on December 15, 2006 extending the deadline to March 23, 2007.  The final rule changing the submission deadline was published in the Federal Register and is available by clicking here.
