David A. Barker is an Associate in the Washington D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., practicing in the areas of environmental litigation and counseling. Mr. Barker’s practice focuses primarily on pesticide regulation, including FIFRA data compensation disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barker was a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Covington & Burling, where he litigated a broad range of matters, including environmental, white collar, securities, trademark, insurance coverage, and employee benefits matters. Mr. Barker served as law clerk to the Hon. T.S. Ellis III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and was a summer law intern at the Department of Justice in the Appellate Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division. Mr. Barker is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law (J.D. 2002), where was the Articles Development Editor of the Virginia Law Review. He holds a degree in German Literature from Williams College (B.A., 1993) and studied modern Austrian literature as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Klagenfurt. Mr. Barker is a member of the Maryland Bar and the Bar of the District of Columbia.
