Alan Sachs is an associate in the Baltimore office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., practicing environmental law with an emphasis on the field of pesticide regulation under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). His practice includes the defense of the rights of pesticide data owners and the arbitration of compensation claims under FIFRA, as well as general regulatory counseling with regard to pesticide, biofuel and biotechnology products.

Mr. Sachs graduated, with honor, from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003, where he was awarded a concentration in environmental law. He was an associate editor for the Maryland Law Review, co-president of the Maryland Environmental Law Society and a member of the Order of the Coif. He graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park in 1999 with a B.A. in English. Mr. Sachs is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars and a vice chair of the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources' Agricultural Management Committee.
