Patrick Jacobi is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., with a practice focusing on complex environmental and real estate litigation.  During his time with Beveridge & Diamond, Mr. Jacobi has represented individual businesses and municipalities in compliance, enforcement, and counseling matters involving NEPA, CERCLA, and other federal and state statutes.  He has also assisted various pro bono clients on estate planning and immigration issues.  Mr. Jacobi is a member of the Beveridge & Diamond Diversity Committee and serves as a co-author for the Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. Toxic Tort and Product Liability Quarterly Update. 

Mr. Jacobi served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Paul L. Friedman, United States District Court for the District of Columbia.  He earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the Vermont Law Review.  His Note regarding state-enacted Renewable Portfolio Standards and the Dormant Commerce Clause was published in the Vermont Law Review.  He was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team and the National Moot Court Team, which reached the national competition after winning the Outstanding Brief Award for the New England Region.  Mr. Jacobi received the American Jurisprudence Award for two classes in law school: Legal Writing II and Appellate Advocacy.  He was awarded a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Theater Studies with distinction, from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.  

Prior to law school, Mr. Jacobi worked in management positions for both a consulting firm and an international business events and information company in Chicago, Illinois.   

Mr. Jacobi is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland Bar, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Patrick and his wife, Tracy, live in Alexandria, Virginia.  Patrick enjoys bicycling, live music, and making pizza.
