Albert J. Beveridge, III is Senior Counsel with Beveridge & Diamond, of which he is a founding partner. He has practiced law in the District of Columbia for almost 40 years, both in government at the Department of Justice and in private law firms. He is presently General Counsel to the American Historical Association and otherwise limits his practice to individual financial consulting. Mr. Beveridge, formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of the George C. Marshall Foundation in Lexington, Virginia, is currently pursuing a graduate degree in American history at Johns Hopkins University in addition to continuing with his legal practice. He has been a member of numerous civic and philanthropic boards, including The Urban League of Washington, D.C., the District of Columbia Red Cross, the Public Defender Services, the Choral Arts Society, and the National Symphony Orchestra Association, of which he was President. Mr. Beveridge has served as a lecturer at American University and Catholic University law schools. |
